At A. Mariago, your complete satisfaction with our curated collections is our highest priority. If your selection does not perfectly align with your personal style, we offer a seamless, professional return and exchange process.
Master Return Guidelines
To be eligible for a full refund or exchange, all items must meet the following strict luxury criteria:
• The item must be completely unused, unworn, and in the exact pristine condition you received it.
• The item must be returned in its original rigid shipping box and premium cloth packaging (if applicable) to preserve its natural leather structure.
• All original designer cardstock hang-tags must remain securely attached to the bag or accessory hardware.
• To initiate any return or exchange, you must email our concierge team first at returns@amariago.com to receive an official Return Authorization. Returns sent back without prior approval cannot be accepted.

Collection-Specific Policies
1. Contemporary Handbag Collection (e.g., Josie Green Leather Bag, Salinas Medium Handbag)
• Return Window: Returns or exchanges must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.
• Limitation: We accept returns or exchanges exactly once per order. Cancellations or changes cannot be accommodated once the shipment is in transit.
• Handcrafted Details: Because our premium bags are individually handmade by skilled artisans, minor natural variations—such as a tiny stray thread or microscopic, cleanable artisan binding glue—are natural characteristics of the production process and are not classified as manufacturing defects.
2. Kiko Leather Collection (e.g., Travel Organizers & Accessories)
• Return Window: Returns or exchanges must be initiated within 10 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fee Notice: Items must be returned in their original packaging. To protect our independent tanneries, any returns received without original packaging or tags will be subject to a 15% restocking fee, deducted directly from your final refund.
• Defective Arrivals: In the rare event that your item arrives with a manufacturing defect, you must notify our concierge team within 3 business days of delivery at hello@amariago.com so we can secure a complimentary prepaid return label for you.
3. Steel Horse Collection (e.g., Priam Full-Grain Passport Covers)
• Return Window: Standard returns or exchanges must be initiated within 21 days of purchase.
• Return Postage: The customer is responsible for the tracked return shipping costs to the brand's fulfillment studio. We highly recommend utilizing a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee refunds for items lost by the carrier during return transit.
4. The Artisan Collection (e.g., Giramondo Leather Crossbody Bags)
• Return Window: Standard returns or exchanges must be initiated within 21 days of delivery.
• Return Shipping: For standard preference returns, the customer is responsible for procuring their own trackable return shipping labels.
• Important Notice for Canadian Customers: In accordance with our artisan workshop guidelines, all orders shipping to Canada may be subject to local import duties, customs taxes, and brokerage fees. These regulatory charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer. A. Mariago is not liable for packages delayed, seized, or destroyed by international customs authorities.

Promotional & Sale Items Notice
In strict accordance with our independent artisan and supplier guidelines, only regular-priced items are eligible for a refund. All items purchased on sale, via a promotional discount checkout code, or during holiday events are classified as Final Sale and are entirely exempt from return, refund, or exchange considerations.
